The Superhero Race

Every child needs a hero, but abused children need Superheroes!

The fourth annual Superhero Race was held on April 22, 2017 along the new Lafitte Greenway.

Looking for the 2017 Race Recap? You can find results here.

Proceeds from the race benefit CASA New Orleans, a nonprofit that fights for the rights of abused and neglected children in St. Bernard and Orleans parishes.
Dressed in Superhero costumes, the runners will race a 5k course through the Lafitte Greenway, while children age 12 and under will race a 1k course down the Jefferson Davis Trail. Runners will compete to win prizes for best costume, best pet costume, and most money raised by a group or individual. There will be an after party following the race, and kid’s activities organized by Discovery FEST Enrichment Program. Don’t miss out on this fun opportunity to support CASA New Orleans!
